Standard of barrier free design for urban roads and buildings

In order to standardize the construction of barrier free facilities, the Ministry of Construction issued the "barrier free design code for urban roads and buildings", of which 24 are mandatory standards for engineering construction, which have been implemented since August 21, 2001.

Requirements for the barrier free facilities and design requirements for 1. people on the road

Curb ramp sidewalk should be provided at intersection, neighborhood intersection, unit exit, Plaza entrance, crosswalk, bridge, tunnel and intersection. Curb ramp mouth high roadway ground shall not be greater than 2cm.

Crosswalk - crosswalk safety island should enable wheelchairs to pass; pedestrian crosswalk on the main roads of the city should be equipped with street sound signals.

Logo - in the city square, pedestrian street, commercial street, pedestrian bridge, pedestrian tunnel and other barrier free facilities, the international barrier free signs should be set up.

2. the design of the slope of a single side slope should be in accordance with the following regulations

7. the scope of the barrier free design for commercial and service buildings should be in accordance with the following provisions
